Classic favorites include our famous Bunker Buster Burger, Meatloaf with sour cream smashed red potatoes, and seasonal menu offerings that appeal to both simple and sophisticated palates. Our bar serves classic and contemporary cocktails, imported and domestic beers and ales, affordable wines by the bottle or the glass, and no attitude! Frjtz offers Belgian style pommes frites with over 20 different dipping sauces. The frites are blanched and then fried to achieve natural crispness without the need to add extra starches. Try the chipotle remoulade for a smokey and yet spicy kick on your frites or perhaps the curry ketchup for a more traditional Indian experience. Frjtz also serves crepes, salads, focaccia sandwiches, burgers, Belgian mussels, Belgian beer and a nice selection of wines.

Mezes translated from Greek means ‘appetizer’, and you will find a savory assortment of them here. Mezes are served on small plates for the whole party to share and enjoy. A wide variety of dishes include zucchini cakes, spinach pie, grilled lamb chops, or the great leg of lamb. Mezes offers terrific, fresh seafood such as pan-seared prawns smothered with tomatoes and feta, or marinated, grilled octopus served with olive oil, lemon and oregano. Let us help you select from a nice variety of Greek wines to pair with your plates.
Mezes is also available for catering and parties, and has a beautiful patio for daily dining or special occasions.

The idea of brewing fresh, hand-crafted beers with authentic Spanish cuisine is the brainchild of Ron Silberstein, a former attorney turned Brewmaster, turned restauranteur!
The Brewery and Restaurant are housed in a beautiful historic brick building directly across the street from the Moscone Center and the Yerba Buena Center for the Performing Arts (including the SFMOMA). Construction on the three-story facility began in December 1995. Ron's vision came to fruition with the first lusciously smooth pint of beer, poured in September 1996.
The restaurant is the first brewpub in the United States to serve an authentic Spanish Menu. At ThirstyBear, Executive Chef Jessica Gorin incorporates some of the finest specialty ingredients from Spain, including manchego cheese, jamon serrano, chorizo sausage, olive oil, and piquillo peppers.
ThirstyBear Brewing Company brews and pours a minimum of nine distinctive, Premium Organic hand-crafted beers. ThirstyBear also has a full bar with an extensive selection of single malt scotches, a variety of exceptional Spanish brandies and other fine liquors. Now beer connoisseurs and cocktail lovers can go to the same restaurant for a great meal, or just a couple of drinks.
