In 1919, the last authentic Pisco Punch was served
when Prohibition closed San Francisco’s reknowned
Bank Exchange & Billiard Saloon. Many thought that
the secrets of this ethereal libation, made from
Peruvian Pisco brandy, died with its creator. UNTIL
NOW.
From James Schenk (creator of the Bay
Area’s premier Peruvian restaurant Destino) comes a
vibrant Latin lounge that pays visual homage to the
birthplace of San Francisco’s original cocktail in
a thoroughly modern way; offering enticing cocktails
and bar bites that bring together the best of
yesterday and today.

Ramblas Tapas is an intimate Spanish restaurant and
bar located in the heart of San Francisco’s most
happening neighborhood: the Mission District. We take
our name from Las Ramblas, Barcelona’s most vibrant
and famous neighborhood. Ramblas Tapas brings to you
the same spirit of fun, food and spirits that Las
Ramblas in Barcelona gives to its neighbors.
Ramblas Tapas’ menu offers California inspired
Spanish cuisine including some traditional tapas and
paellas plus our own interpretations of classic
Spanish fare. Our delicious sangria complements any
meal and warms your soul. Ramblas Tapas’ full-bar
serves delicious specialty cocktails including our
legendary Hibiscus Margarita, select Spanish wines,
hand-crafted beers by ThirstyBear Brewing Company and
bottled beers from some of the world’s finest local
and international breweries.
The San Francisco Green Business Program has
certified Ramblas Tapas as a green restaurant. We
compost, recycle and convert our waste vegetable oil
into bio-diesel. Whenever practical, we purchase and
support our local farmers. Through donations and
other programs, we have assisted our local arts
community such as ODC, the Intersection for the Arts,
826 Valencia Street and the San Francisco
International Film Festival.

lalola BAR DE TAPAS is a casual, no-reservations,
neighborhood food and wine bar. We offer a variety of
tapas to go with our house red or white Sangria,
Spanish beer, Sherry, Cavas and wines by the glass or
half-glass (and the bottle, claro!). Our pintxos and
tapas are inspired by the food and flavors of Spain,
featuring different regional specialties and wines
through our "regional pairings." How is lalola
different from a restaurant? A Spanish tapas bar is a
place where friends and family gather to eat and
drink while standing, sitting or moving about to
catch up with others or reach over the bar for that
last bite of tortilla.

Cha Cha Cha - the name exudes fun, a festive
atmosphere comes to mind. Funny then that the
restaurant, Cha Cha Cha, is known to many San
Franciscans as a place to eat (Caribbean/Asian
fusion), drink (sangria!), and be jolly with friends.
With two locations in the City's more unique
neighborhoods, the Mission and the Haight, Cha Cha
Cha serves tapas-style cuisine and delectable drinks
at affordable prices. Cha Cha Cha is the place to
start or end a night, but it's equally suited to be
THE destination for the night. So come try it out -
it's always worth the wait!
